My tasks included but were not limited to;
-Creating VFX and ensuring these are performant and usable for artists and design.
This includes designing and requesting technical solutions and final implementation.
-Initiating conversations with AD and Design about potential VFX needs and solutions.
-Co-authoring assets with Tech Art when the scope exceeded the individual teams.
-Helping mentor and train newly hired artist and collab partners in Snow Drop, as well as give general feedback and direction.
-Spearheading planning and development of the VFX team and it’s pipeline in terms of production position, onboarding material and base content.
-Heading an initiative for building new VFX toolset within snowdrop.

-Creating effects from Rare's existing library of effects, shaders and textures.
-Creating effects from scratch, including shaders and textures.
Making sure that the final product reflects our quality standardswhile staying performant.
-Setting up effects to play through UE4 Blueprint and custom systems.
-Identify special effects opportunities and needs in conversation with design.
-Help liaison with our outsource partners.
